The Our Lady of Grace Holiday Outreach Committee's Christmas "Gift of Love Tree" (our yearly Christmas outreach to families in need) will be on display in the church during the weekends of November 16, 17, 23, 24 and December 1 & 2. The tags on the tree specify certain items requested by families in need to meet their needs.
The ribbons on the tags represent the type of gift:
Red - Specific requests of the families. The number circled on the card will help us to match the gift to the family.
Green - Generic gift cards to be distributed to the families and to accommodate last minute requests.
White - Gifts appropriated to the local Homeless Shelter.
Please take one or more tags from the tree, make your purchase, wrap the gift/gift certificate and secure the tag to your gift so we know which family your gift is for. Kindly place Christmas gifts under the tree in church by December 8.
After December 8, the Gift of Love Tree becomes a Memory Tree. At that time through the end of the Christmas season, parishioners are invited to place an ornament on the tree in honor of a deceased loved one, as we carry their memory in our hearts and pray for them throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons.
If you have any questions about our Gift of Love Tree or know of a family in need, please contact Claire Wiley at 267-269-5054 or Anna McMillan at 215-880-6922.
